Construction Begins for Greenpoint Residential Project
General contractor, , has begun excavation and foundation work on a 6-story, mixed-use project, at 171 Calyer Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Developed by , the building will contain rental apartments and square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor. Residents will have access to a communal recreation room on the second floor, and some units will be offered with outdoor terraces.
Plans also call for a bike storage area as well as an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , 171 Calyer Street is set to stand feet tall and total square feet. Financing for the project was secured through Israel Discount Bank and comes in the form of a $22.06 million construction loan. Work is estimated to finish in June of 2023.
