Construction Commences on 33-Story Mixed-Use Tower in Downtown St. Petersburg
Construction is underway at the 3rd & 3rd mixed-use project in downtown St. Petersburg. Local developer Echelon Real Estate Services is behind the project for the new tower, which will rise to 375 feet making it one of the tallest buildings in St. Petersburg. The building, which will rise at the corner of 3rd Street South and 3rd Avenue South, will feature 368 apartments along with 15,525 square feet of ground floor retail space. A two-story end cap retail space will front 3rd Street with the majority of the retail space fronting 3rd Avenue. The apartment units will range from studios to large two-story penthouses on the top floor. Amenities include an eighth-floor amenity deck with an outdoor pool, large TV wall, fire pits and cabanas. Residents will also have access to a fitness center, resident workspaces, conference rooms and a community kitchen. A parking garage will contain 323 spaces and there will be 289 bicycle parking spaces.
