Construction Loan Secured for Mixed-Use Development in South Tampa

 

 

An entity linked to Tyson Apartments developers Simpson Housing LLLP and Woodfield Development have secured a construction loan for $50 million from Comerica Bank according to Hillsborough County records. City of Tampa building records indicate that the permit application filed was approved on October 25. Tyson Apartments, a proposed mixed-use development, will offer 226 apartment units along with 5,000 square feet of retail space in south Tampa on the Rattlesnake Point waterfront. Tyson Apartments, located off Tampa Bay, will also include boat docks.  The four-story apartment building will contain studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The community will include a pool and 5-story parking garage with 444 parking spaces. The existing building on the site will be demolished prior to the start of construction.
