Construction Moving Forward at Niche Apartments in Tampa

The exterior is complete and painted on one side of Niche Apartments in Tampa. Crews are finishing the rest of the exterior and have begun working on the interior. Niche is located on a 1.84 acre site that is a short walk to Tampa’s vibrant riverwalk and the prominent high-rise office towers of downtown Tampa. The site is adjacent to the University of Tampa in the North Hyde Park neighborhood, less than a mile from Tampa’s Central Business District, and two miles from the Westshore Business District (Tampa’s top employment center). Of the 251 units, 117 will be apartments fewer than 500 square feet, creating an attainable rent level for young professionals who desire to live alone in a prime location. These thoughtfully designed spaces also include 60 micro-unit apartments. The innovative micro-units contain robotic furniture that can convert the living room area into an office space, bedroom, or walk-in closet using one’s phone or Amazon Alexa. The development is Texas-wrap construction with two interior courtyards, a rooftop pool, and amenity space. Completion is expected in Q1 2024.
