Core, Shell and System Work at Future Nike Store at U Street Corridor
The long-vacant structure at 7th and H St. NE, in the heart of the revitalization of the H Street Corridor, will be outfitted for a Nike retail store. The 16,800 sq. ft. structure will undergo core and shell renovations, as well as have all systems replaced, upgrading utilities, adding a fire staircase, and a monumental stair which will connect the renovated basement to the ground floor. The exterior work will include new roofing, glass storefronts, and a metal mech and decorative EIFS to the exterior. The renovations are slated for completion in the summer of this year.
