Developer Acquires Land for Mixed-Use Development in Tampa for $7.3 Million
St. Louis-based developer Subtext Living has acquired six parcels of land for Local Tampa, a new mixed-use development along Kennedy Boulevard in North Hyde Park, for $7.3 million. Subtext previously the other five parcels for the development for $7.3 million in February and March 2023. The development will feature 235 residential units. The seven-story building, located a short distance from downtown Tampa and the University of Tampa, would bring retail space along with community amenities, a fitness center, coffee bar, club lounge with entertainment and co-working space, pool with sundeck and courtyard in the center of the building. Groundbreaking is slated for summer 2023, the existing retail, single family and multi-family buildings on the site will be demolished.
