Developer Lands $109.2M for Bronx Affordable Housing Project

Developer, , has just secured a $109.2 million loan for a 12-story, affordable housing project, set to rise at 671 Tinton Avenue in the Bronx's Woodstock neighborhood. Issued jointly by TD Bank and the New York State Housing Finance Agency, this influx of capital will be used to fund all construction costs from the ground up.

Known as "St. Anselm Apartments", the new building will contain affordable housing units, with 63 of these to be offered with supportive services.

Tenant amenities are to include a community room, a library, an outdoor recreation space, a bicycle storage area, and an office for supportive services. The building will also have a cellar level.

Designed by , with serving as the general contractor, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. The development will occupy what was previously the parking lot of the Saints Anselm & Roch Roman Catholic Church.
