Developer Proposes Change of New Construction Allston Project from Condos to Apartments
The developer behind the mixed-use project at 392-398 Cambridge Street has proposed a change in the residential units within the project from condos to apartments. The building, which was completed in late 2021, features 32 residential units along with 5,100 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Per the filing, "due to the increased costs of construction and other changes in the market, Mr. Veyssi has had to maintain ownership of all the units in the condominium. Accordingly, he now proposes to change the units from ownership to rental units."
