Devs Land $84M Loan for Luxury Greenwich Village Condo Project

Joint developers, Argo Real Estate, and B Safal, have just obtained $84 million in construction financing for an 11-story, residential project, going up at 64 University Place in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood. This influx of capital was lent by both Naftali Group and Deutsche Bank and will be used to fund build costs for the remainder of the project.

The building is set to contain just ultra-luxury condo units, with high-quality interiors designed by Space Copenhagen. Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a sauna, and a rooftop garden.

The structure will also feature square feet of ground-floor retail space, as well as 210 square feet of community facility space, which will be used as a public gallery area.

Designed by , 64 University Place will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction efforts are being overseen at the top level by , and work is expected to finish before the summer of next year.
