Diamond District Hotel Starts to Rise
Concrete subcontractor, Glenco Contracting, recently started to form the superstructure of a 31-story, hotel tower, going up at 32 West 48th Street in Midtown Manhattan's Diamond District. General contractor, , is overseeing construction at the top level as the project goes vertical.
Developed by , and designed by , the hotel will offer rooms.
The structure is set to stand feet tall and will total square feet. A 4-story, commercial building, was demolished on the project site in order to make way for the new development. Work on the tower is anticipated to complete by the 4th quarter of 2024, although this seems highly optimistic given the current state of progress.
