Eastdil Secured Appoints Rob Walters as Managing Director

Eastdil Secured, L.L.C. (“Eastdil Secured” or “the firm”), the global real estate investment bank, today announced that Rob Walters has joined the firm as Managing Director. Mr. Walters will be based in the Washington, D.C. office and will lead the firm’s data center and digital infrastructure business, focused on sales, leasing, joint ventures and financing.

Mr. Walters brings over 25 years of commercial real estate experience and deep expertise in the digital infrastructure and data center space. He joins Eastdil Secured from Avison Young, where he served as Principal and led the firm’s Data Center practice in both Investment Sales and Leasing. Mr. Walters’s extensive track record, deep network of relationships and unparalleled digital infrastructure real estate knowledge makes him ideally suited to lead Eastdil Secured in growing its data center efforts both in the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Walters is an established commercial real estate leader with a focus on delivering creative and strategic solutions on behalf of his data center and digital infrastructure clients. At Avison Young, Mr. Walters advised clients on sales and leasing transactions totaling more than 15 million square feet and a combined value of over $4.5 billion. Mr. Walters holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he currently sits on the Washington, D.C. regional board.
