Facade Work In Progress for 25-Story Journal Square Tower Project

General contractor, , has now installed more than 75% of the facade on a 25-story tower project, going up at 532 Summit Avenue in Jersey City's Journal Square neighborhood.

Developed by Urby, a joint venture between Ironstate Properties and Brookfield Properties, the building will be known as "Journal Square Urby".

Journal Square Urby will contain residential units, offered in studio, and one to three-bedroom configurations. Plans also call for square feet of ground-floor retail space and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

 

Tenant amenities are to include a swimming pool, a fitness center with a yoga studio, a rooftop lounge, outdoor BBQ stations and dining areas, a dog park, and a lobby café.

 

Designed by Concrete, with HLW International serving as the architect of record, the structure stands feet tall and totals square feet. Work is likely to wrap up sometime next year.
