Facade Work Nears Completion for DUMBO High-Rise
A 26-story tower project, located at 30 Front Street in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood, now has most of its facade installed, with only the bottom floor still waiting to receive cladding materials. To be known as Olympia DUMBO, it is being constructed by general contractor, .
Developed by , the structure will contain luxury condo units, offered in a variety of configurations, ranging from one to five bedrooms. The units will come with unique interiors, envisioned by Workstead.
Olympia will boast a truly extensive collection of tenant amenities, spanning roughly 38,000 square feet. The long list includes a pair of indoor and outdoor pools, a landscaped park, multiple cabanas and barbecue areas, a ship-inspired playground for children, and several residential lounges.
There will also be an exclusive club, complete with a game lounge, a bar, and a bowling alley, as well as a fitness center that will have a full-size tennis court, spin studio, boxing gym, steam room, treatment room, dry sauna, juice bar, and a maritime-themed kid’s playroom.
Designed by , and looking like the sail of a ship in the harbor, the topped-out tower stands feet tall and totals square feet.
Despite everything on offer, the tower's best attribute is going to be its sightlines. The property is positioned right beside the Brooklyn Bridge and tenants will have spectacular views of the Financial District, the bridge, and the mouth of New York Harbor. Olympia DUMBO is expected to open sometime in 2023.
