Facade Work Wrapping Up on Turken House

General contractor, , is finishing up the facade installation process for a 21-story, mixed-use project, going up at 300 East 41st Street in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood.

Developed by  and known as "Turken House", it will be used as both a cultural center and a housing facility for Turkish students studying in Manhattan.

Approximately  single and double occupancy units will span floors 4 through 15 as well as 17 through 21.

The building will also feature social activity areas, a private praying area, a study room on each floor, and multiple bicycle storage rooms.

Plans further call for  square feet of retail space, split between the ground floor and a cellar level.

Designed by , Turken House stands feet tall and totals square feet. The building has been thoughtfully engineered with the goal of achieving LEED Silver Certification. Construction is expected to finish sometime this year.
