Foundation construction underway at 45 L Street, upcoming South Boston condominiums
Demolition of the former low-rise buildings at 45 L Street in South Boston is now complete, and construction of the foundations of a new five-story mixed-use building is now underway. Excavations are now underway to dig trenches for the building's foundations and prepare the site for construction of the building's at-grade garage and five-story structure. The new five-story building at 45 L Street will feature 30 condominium residences and a 1,009-square-foot ground-floor commercial unit. The following are photographs of 45 L Street:
