Goodwin University To Build A Marina On The Connecticut River
Goodwin University, a private university in East Hartford, plans to build a marina on the Connecticut River. The project is intended to fit 31 boat slips, some of which will be reserved for emergency services. The marina, which received a $2 million grant from Gov. Lamont's Communities Challenge Grant Program, is part of a larger development plan from Goodwin University that includes housing, hotel, and restaurant space.
Goodwin University is hoping to break ground on the marina by the fall.
