Ground Broken at Self Storage Facility in Lutz, Florida
Safeguard Self Storage is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of our newest development in the Tampa metropolitan (Sun Coast) area. This development will mark Safeguard’s 22nd facility in the State of Florida and seventh facility in Tampa. Upon completion, the three-story, fully climate-controlled building will comprise 70,600 rentable square feet and 917 units. Safeguard continues to pursue expansion opportunities in Tampa as it seeks to complement its existing South Florida holdings. The project is being built by Mike Carter Construction and is expected to be completed in August 2024.
