Groundbreaking Held for New STEM Center at Gulf Coast State College
Construction kicked off with the ceremonial groundbreaking at the new STEM Center at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City. The three-story, 40,000-square feet STEM Center will replace the College’s 60-year-old Natural Sciences classrooms and labs which has been demolished. The STEM Center designed to expand and grow learning opportunities for our students. It will house state-of-the-art equipment and lab spaces to provide students with real-world experiences that will prepare them for future careers. Also, it will provide innovative and collaborative workspaces for students. The STEM Center is expected to open in 2024.
