Historic West Village Hotel Trades for $62M
A historic, 6-story hotel building, located at 113 Jane Street in Manhattan's West Village, has just been sold for $62 million. The structure was purchased by JK Hotel Group from the previous owner, Jane St. Hospitality, in an arms-length transaction.
Originally constructed in 1908, the building contains "The Jane Hotel", which features 208 guest rooms and a beautiful old-timey aesthetic.
It also features a ballroom, a ballroom bar & mezzanine, a rooftop bar, and a roof terrace. In all, the hotel totals 43,618 square feet.
Jeff Klein, the founder of JK Hotel Group, plans to convert the hotel's public spaces into a private club, featuring a members-only, "SVB New York" restaurant, a dance room, a billiards room, and a screening room for unreleased films. The timeline for this conversion has not been made public just yet.
