Jamaica Plain loft apartment building sells for nearly $8 million
Off Centre Lofts, a 100%-leased Jamaica Plain apartment building featuring 21 studio and one-bedroom loft residences, has sold for $7.895 million. Castles Commercial represented seller Traggorth Companies in the transaction, with Otis & Ahearn representing buyer Tremont Asset Management LLC. Bank of America provided $5.372 million in mortgage financing towards Tremont’s acquisition. Off Centre Lofts is located at 26 Sunnyside Street, steps from the MBTA Orange Line and shops and restaurants on Centre Street.
