JPMorgan Joins North Potomac Yard Team as Asset Manager
JPMorgan Chase has taken over as asset manager representing the owner of North Potomac Yard replacing Lionstone Investments on the project. The master developer on the project, JBG Smith, started demo on the site last month for phase 1 of the 7M+ development. This first phase of the project will include 1.7M square feet across four office towers and two mixed-use residential buildings. Virginia Tech's new 11-story 300,000 square foot academic building is also included in phase 1. Virginia Tech expects to begin construction next summer, with occupancy in 2024.
