Massive Miami MetroCenter Redevelopment Project Enters Request For Qualification Phase
On February 10th RFQ packages for the project were issued in which developers for the project will begin being selected. Once selected, a Request For Proposals will be delivered to get detailed development plans and terms from those firms selected.
The top bidder will be expected to redevelop 17 acres in Downtown Miami and build a new Downtown Miami transit terminal, a new facilities for Miami-Dade main library, a new facilities for HistoryMiami museum, a K-12 school and day care center, a 2.5 acres of open space and a minimum of 2,000 affordable and workforce housing units.
