Medford Zoning Board Approves Updated Project at 61 Locust Street
The Hanover Company has received approval from the Medford Zoning Board for a 350-unit mixed use project at 61 Locust Street. The five-story project will include 5,850 sf of commercial space, studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments and a common courtyard for residents.
This approval comes after controversy surrounding the original Equity Residential proposal put their larger, 490 unit, multiple building, project in jeopardy. The Hanover Company has hosted numerous neighborhood meetings on the project and has committed to preserving green space on the Cummings Street side of the property.
