Mixed-Use Development Planned in Fort Lauderdale

 

 

A new mixed-use development is proposed in Fort Lauderdale. The development will be reviewed by the Oakland Park Development Review Committee at a meeting on May 23, 2024. Cypress Crossing in Fort Lauderdale will offer 286 apartments along with retail space. The development includes an eight-story building which will contain the apartments and 8,400 square feet of retail space. In addition, there will be two 7,500-square foot retail buildings. The studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments will range from 428 to 1,111 square feet. Community amenities for the apartments will include an interior atrium with a ground floor pool, a fitness center, co-working space, children’s room and co-working space. The site will include 700 parking spaces with 52 electric vehicle charging hook ups. Cypress Crossing would be constructed on the site of the Broward County park and ride lot on the west side of the intersection of Interstate 95 and Cypress Creek Road.
