5500 & 5520 Wisconsin Avenue Update 04/17/23

Mixed-Use Friendship Heights Tower Approved

The Montgomery County planning board has approved a sketch plan amendment and a site plan for the proposed mixed-use tower at 5500 Wisconsin Ave in Friendship Heights. Plans call for up to 300 residential units with 136,487 square feet of commercial uses including the existing 125,000 square-foot hotel on the site that will remain.
