More Than Half of Car Condos Sold as Construction Continues at Motocave
Motocave, the first car condo development in St. Petersburg, has sold 22 of the 43 units. Construction is progressing, the exterior walls are up. Construction on first car condo development on a 3.75 acre site in the northeast section of the city began in October 2022. Located at the corner of Gandy Boulevard and Interstate 275, Motocave will offer 43 units from 1,000-4,000 square feet. Each unit will have a 14-foot overhead door to have room for RV’s and offer a restroom, air-conditioning and a janitorial sink. Upgrades include a steel-fabricated loft and lifts to accommodate additional vehicles. A 2,178 square foot multi-story clubhouse will have space for events and will feature a covered balcony on the second story. Completion is expected to be completed in 2024.
