Mott Haven Development Site Snagged for $35M
A 2-story factory building, located at 138 Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx's Mott Haven neighborhood has just been traded for $35 million. In a deal brokered by Feinberg Brothers Real Estate, the 39,375 square foot structure was acquired by MSP Capital Investments from the previous owner, Zaro's Family Bakery Inc.
While the building offers a nice amount of space for manufacturing, the property's redevelopment potential is far more valuable in this case. At 35,000 square feet, the lot offers a maximum buildable square footage of 305,000, which equates to nearly eight times the size of the existing structure. Zaro's Family Bakery is parting ways with 138 Bruckner after 16 years of ownership, having purchased the property in 2005.
