New 28-Story Mixed-Use Tower Proposed in Edgewater
Plans have been submitted for Metro 2 at Edgewater, a 28-story mixed-use tower in Miami’s Edgewater district. The development will offer a mix of residential, lodging, office and retail space along with amenities. The ground level will include 9,745 square feet of commercial space for restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and retail outlets. The second through sixth floors will contain 36,134 square feet of office space. The 60 lodging units will be located on floors eight to 14. The 103 multi-family units, which will range from 748 to 1,374 square feet will occupy the seventh, and 15th-28th floors. Plans also include a 220-space parking garage. The development is adjacent to the recently completed Metro Edgewater, a 32-story mixed-use tower. The project will be reviewed by the Miami Urban Development Review Board at its April 17 meeting.
