New Development Replacing Demolished Yonkers Rental Property
General contractor, , is currently working to construct a 6-story residential building at 15 Parkview Avenue in Yonkers, New York.
Jointly developed by Elk Homes and Parkview Equities LLC, it will contain rental apartments. Tenant amenities are to include a fitness room, a rooftop terrace, and a storage space. Plans also call for an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , the new development has been designed to emulate the character of the building it replaces. The previous building to occupy the lot was a brick, 1930's era apartment building, known as "The Yorkshire". The building was unfortunately gutted by a fire in 2019 and subsequently had to be demolished.
