New Plans for Parking Lot in Mount Vernon Triangle
ANC 6E commissioner Rachelle Nigro shared the development plans on Instagram for the parking lot at 1001 6th Street NW. There are two potential developments presented by Steuart Investment Company and BXP: The first is a 130-foot tall project with upwards of 550 residential units.
The second is a similarly sized development with 465 apartments and a hotel portion with 270 rooms.
Previously proposed plans for the site were for a 525,000 sq. ft. office building designed by Shalom Barnes, a partnership between Steuart and Boston Properties.
