NoMad Hotel Trades for $157M

A 19-story hotel building, located at 444 Park Avenue South in Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood, has just been sold for $157 million. The structure was purchased by Global Holdings Management Group from the previous owner and developer, Moin Development, in an arms-length transaction.

Originally constructed in 1920, the 100,000-square-foot structure was previously a 13-story office building. Between 2016 and 2017, it received a 6-story addition and was converted into a luxury hotel.

The hotel is currently branded as "Mondrian Park Avenue" and it contains luxury guest rooms. Most of the suites are king-size rooms, with suites located on the upper floors offering balconies as well.

In addition to guest rooms, the hotel offers a restaurant, known as "Cleo", and a rooftop lounge known as "Mondrian Terrace". The building also features a fitness center and bookable meeting rooms.
