Nonprofit Breaks Ground on 71K SQFT Educational Center with $1M Donation by Supermodel, Gisele Bündchen
The largest shelter for women and children in the nation has recently broke ground on a 71,000-square-foot educational center located at 219 Northwest 14th Terrace in Miami, Fl. The project is called, Children's Village and will be built just across the street from the main 500-bed shelter providing preschool and recreational facilities.
The organization also received $32 million in financing as well as a $1 million donation to the 501c3 nonprofit by supermodel, Gisele Bündchen.
Construction is scheduled to take up to 18 months.
