Northwood and Universal acquire Tower Point offices in Fort Point for $86.85 million


Northwood Investors of Denver, CO and Universal Investment of Germany have closed on the acquisition of Tower Point, a 155,170-square-foot brick-and-beam office building in Fort Point, for $86.85 million, or $559.71 per square foot, in cash. Seller Rockpoint Group acquired Tower Point for $62.1 million, or $400.21 per square foot, in October 2015 from The Davis Companies, who acquired the building in October 2013 for $43.4 million, or $279.69 per square foot. Tower Point is nearly fully occupied, with tenants including Rethink Robotics, NPR, Healthways, Zerto and Owner IQ.
