OnyxGroup & Maven Construction Selected to Redevelop Historic Downtown Brockton Property
The OnyxGroup and Maven Construction along with partner Concord Square Development Corporation have been selected by DCAMM to redevelop 36 Main Street in Brockton. The development team plans to transform the historic asset into 35 apartments with 20% of the units affordable at 80% AMI. As part of the project the building's facade will be renovated, rooftop solar & a green roof will be added. Plans also include 1,500 square feet of commercial community space. With this project, The OnyxGroup will become the first black women-owned and operated development company to develop and own a project of this scale in Brockton.
