Pendry Hotels & Resorts Celebrates Groundbreaking for Future Hotel and Residences Along Tampa’s Famed Riverwalk

Pendry brings new luxury offering to downtown Tampa and begins next phase of construction

Today, Pendry Hotels & Resorts and Two Roads Development celebrated the groundbreaking of Pendry Tampa and Pendry Residences Tampa, a tremendous milestone for the hotel, featuring 220 guestrooms and a 39-story tower featuring 207 Pendry Residences along Tampa’s famed Riverwalk.

Pendry Tampa is located at the corner of Ashley Boulevard and Whiting Street along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa, and it represents the ninth location in Pendry’s growing portfolio, including San Diego, Baltimore, West Hollywood, Chicago, Manhattan, Washington DC – The Wharf, Park City and Newport Beach, with future locations under development in Natirar, New Jersey, Barbados in the Caribbean and Punta Mita, Mexico.

The development team took the occasion of the groundbreaking to announce that they have reached the milestone of more than $230 million in sales at Pendry Residences Tampa, including sales of several dozen residences in the last few months.

Pendry Tampa will feature three signature food and beverage offerings, Spa Pendry and state-of-the-art fitness center, a rooftop pool, Paintbox Kids Club, 11,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a myriad of Riverwalk fronting retail and restaurants.
