Permits have just been filed for a 12-story, mixed-use development at 563 Sackett Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Developed by , the building would contain residential units and square feet of commercial space. This would likely come in the form of ground-floor retail. Plans also call for almost 8,300 square feet of manufacturing space, an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles, two basement levels, and three loading docks. Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. An existing industrial property would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
