Permits Filed for 19-Story Shelter Housing Development in Concourse Village
Building permits have just been filed for a 19-story, residential development, at 280 East 161st Street in the Concourse Village neighborhood of the Bronx. Developed by , the building will contain shelter housing units. Plans also call for a cellar level, and an open parking lot, with enough room for vehicles. Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. An existing, 8-story, multifamily building, may have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development, although this is unconfirmed.
