Proposal For 32 Units at Arlington Parking Lot
A proposal is under review to develop an unused parking lot at 2608 Shirlington Road into a four-story, 32-unit development. The building would feature 24 one-bedrooms and 8 two-bedrooms; three of the units would be affordable.
Plans call for a second-floor courtyard with a pool, a gym, 12 bicycle spaces, and 35 vehicular parking spaces. Twenty-four of the units would have private outdoor space.
The application seeks exception for a reduced parking ratio, a variance on the allowable penthouse height, and add less than 600 square feet of density below-grade and on the penthouse level.
