Related Beal Closes on Financing for Seaport Lab

Related Beal has announced that it has closed financing for Innovation Square Phase III, an upcoming 345,000-square-foot life science development. Land records show a mortgage of $280M was secured through Santander Bank. The building will be fully occupied by Vertex Pharmaceuticals and will be the firm's second research building occupied in the Seaport developed with Related Beal. ISQ3 will be the first LEED Platinum and zero-net-carbon life sciences building in Boston. Construction is expected to be completed in 2026.
