Resort With a Waterpark Planned in St. Pete Beach
Plans have been filed for a resort featuring a waterpark in St. Pete Beach. Windward Pass Resort will be a 104-key hotel. The six-story building will be located on a 2.76-acre site along Gulf Boulevard with frontage on the intracoastal waterway. The waterpark, featuring a lazy river and water slides, will be primarily reserved for resort guests, but will be open to the public during off-peak times. The resort will also include a secluded pool with sundeck and swim-up bar, two restaurants, including a rooftop bar as well as a screened parking garage with 190 spaces.
