Swirnow Structures Working on Campus Housing Project in Aspen Heights
Swirnow Structures has announced that their Hambro system will be utilized on Aspen Heights in College Park, MD. The off-campus housing project designed by BSB Design consists of 2-buildings, the first at 8-stories, and the second at 9-stories.
Hambro will be bearing on prefabricated load-bearing metal stud walls, with the Swirnow Structures team working closely with Donohoe Construction Company and engineer Ehlert Bryan Engineering Consulting.
The strip and go Hambro forming system bearing on fully sheathed prefabricated wall panels allows for an expedited construction schedule, and provides superior fire and sound ratings, according to the company.
