Synergy Welcomes Brian Collins as Executive Vice President, Head of Asset Management

Boston-based Real Estate Investor Announces Key Appointment to the Synergy Leadership Team

Synergy, a prominent real estate investor, operator, and manager, is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Collins to their leadership team. With over two decades of institutional real estate investment management experience, Collins joins Synergy this January as the Executive Vice President, Head of Asset Management. In his new role, Collins will oversee the Asset Management and Leasing Teams responsible for Synergy’s Greater Boston portfolio.

Collins joins Synergy following his most recent role as Senior Vice President and Asset Manager at Clarion Partners where he oversaw a national portfolio of assets in both the office and life science sectors. Notably, Collins developed, implemented, and oversaw the successful execution of business plans, a testament to his ability to deliver outstanding investment outcomes. He looks forward to continuing his work and achieving superior results for the Synergy portfolio.

“I have tremendous respect for Brian both as a person and a professional. I am pleased he saw the value proposition here at Synergy,” notes Synergy Chief Executive Officer David Greaney. “There is no question that his knowledge, experience, and leadership will make a positive and lasting impact on our firm.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to take this role, at this time, at this company,” says Collins. “Both David Greaney and Synergy have built a reputation for being a best-in-class investor and operator, and this is a crucial time in our industry. I see the commercial office sector, in particular, as a long-term play and it is an exciting opportunity to work through this cycle – especially with an organization like Synergy.”

Prior to Clarion Partners, Collins worked at The Davis Companies, where he held the position of Vice President for Asset Management, managing a diversified portfolio across the eastern US. Collins spent more than a decade with Long Wharf Capital where he built his career from an Associate Asset Manager to the position of Director for Asset Management.

A graduate of Bentley University, Collins holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification and is a U.S. Military Veteran. A resident of Quincy, Collins is a member of NAIOP, REFA and a BID Downtown Boston board member. His addition to Synergy reinforces the company's commitment to assembling top talent and delivering superior results in the real estate market.
