Topping Out Celebrated at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School
A topping-out ceremony was held at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School. The roughly 150,000 sq. ft. building will include significant improvements in academic spaces.
The former Patrick Henry Elementary School on Taney Avenue in Alexandria's West End will be used as a "swing space" while Douglas MacArthur is rebuilt. Students should be able to move into the school in January 2023.
