TV Production Studio Breaks Ground in Woodside
General contractor, , recently broke ground on a brand-new, film and TV production studio, at 48-37 48th Street in Woodside, Queens.
Developed by and to be known as "East End Studios Sunnyside Campus", the 5-story building will feature 91,250 square feet of stage area, consisting of 3 large, state-of-the-art, sound stages, with 37’ clearance heights and 1 flexible sound stage, with 27' clearance heights.
The building will have 8-loading docks and an underground parking garage, with enough room for vehicles. Plans also call for office, production, and support spaces, totaling 159,000 square feet, as well as approximately 12,000 square feet of milling space, and 9,000 square feet of rooftop terraces.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet altogether. The studio is planned to open sometime in 2025.
