Two-Building, 100+ Unit Project Now Under Review in Roxbury
10 MX Owner, LLC, a joint venture between SV + Partners, Trax Development, and Caste Capital has filed plans for the redevelopment of 10 Malcolm X Boulevard in Roxbury. The existing 35,000-square-foot office building on the site will remain as part of the project and 2 new residential buildings will be constructed. 20 Malcolm X will be a 6-story, 111-unit building with ground-floor community retail space. A 4-story condo building, 70 Dudley, would include 21 units. Both residential buildings are being designed to highly sustainable standards with both set to be designed to be certifiable as both Passive House and LEED Gold standards. The project will also create significant new publicly accessible open space, including a public plaza adjacent to the ground floor retail community area at the entry of the site that will feature community art, landscaping, and seating adjacent to an existing MBTA bus stop.
