Venable Moves Its Northern Virginia Office to 1850 Towers Crescent Plaza in Tysons

Venable LLP is pleased to announce that its Tysons office has relocated from 1810 Towers Crescent Drive to 1850 Towers Crescent Plaza in Tysons, Virginia. The move will provide the firm with more efficient space and will enhance the firm’s commitment to its employees' wellness, its exceptional client service, and its investment in Northern Virginia.

The new office will be home to 40 legal staff members and 19 business professionals, who will occupy 24,000 square feet on the 4th floor of the building. The office space is designed to be open and airy, with clear glass walls, yet warm and welcoming, which supports the firm’s culture of collaboration and community. The multiple sized conference rooms will allow clients and guests to attend meetings and events with state-of-the-art video conferencing capabilities. Consistent with Venable’s long-standing focus on employee wellness, every office and workstation will have an automatic standing desk. There is also a wellness room, an on-site self-service mini-mart, and an eat-in café, which features a cozy library.

“We first opened our office in Tysons in 1985. Since then, the growth in the area has been dramatic, with the development of significant office and retail, as well as a more recent shift toward residential,” said Ked Whitmore, partner-in-charge of the Tysons office. “So, when we started seeking new office space, the decision to stay in Tysons was obvious. Venable is very proud of what we have accomplished here in Tysons, and we look forward to our continued growth throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC region.”

“Venable has a long record of success in Tysons, and we know they will have decades more in our growing urban center,” said acting Tysons Community Alliance CEO Rich Bradley. “They are a great example of how businesses can grow and expand while staying in their community.”

The office has access to multiple dining options and is a three-minute walk from Tysons Corner Center and a seven-minute walk from Tysons Corner Metro Station. The building is adjacent to the redesigned and renovated Tysons Corner Marriott, providing a convenient option for out-of-town clients and guests.
