Waterbury-Oxford Airport Expansion Breaks Ground
Clay Lacy Aviation and CT State officials celebrated the groundbreaking of an 11-acre expansion to the Waterbury-Oxford Airport. Costing $20 million, the plans call for a new passenger terminal, admin offices, and a 40,000 sqft airplane hangar.
The project also focuses on sustainability with features of solar panels and electric charging. An efficient building design and sustainable aviation fuel are also present. Work is projected to be completed in 2024.
