Final touches are wrapping up at 500 Ocean Avenue in Revere. The transit-oriented project next to the Blue Line features 305 luxury apartments and over 13,000 square feet of amenity space. The building welcomed first residents this fall and the restaurant Dryft also opened as part of the ground floor retail/restaurant space.
Dryft Restaurant Opens at 500 Ocean Ave. in Revere
Dryft is now open as part of the mixed-use project at 500 Ocean Avenue in Revere. The waterfront property features 305 apartments plus ground floor restaurant retail space including the home of Dryft. The 140 seat restaurant will feature a premium raw bar and classic New England seafood selections. Italian-influenced pasta dishes will also compliment the seafood theme. An additional 100 seats are planned for a large outdoor bar area to be added in 2020.
500 Ocean Ave. Set to Welcome First Residents in Early November
Finishing touches are underway for the first set of units at 500 Ocean Avenue along Revere Beach just North of Boston. The project will include 305 units in total currently ranging in price from $1950 for studios through nearly $5000 for 3 bedroom homes. The project also offers unique two-story loft layouts (pictured below) and of course many units with ocean views.
With construction wrapping up for the first section of 500 Ocean Avenue in Revere, leasing is underway with first residents expected to take occupancy in early September. The luxury development, along Revere Beach will feature 305 apartments along with 13,000 square feet of amenity space including an outdoor pool, co-working space, and a roof deck with ocean views.
Units range in size from 1 through 3 bedrooms and include black kitchen cabinets and slate appliances along with smartphone keyless entry systems and nest thermostats.
Wood framing is complete for 500 Ocean Avenue along Revere Beach with window install and exterior work also ongoing in parts of the project. This new full-service building will include a total of 305 residential units next to the Wonderland MBTA station. Resident amenities will include a programmed roof deck with unobstructed ocean views; a bar/lounge/media concept; a communal workspace; dynamic fitness concept with outdoor yoga space; outdoor lap pool; dog care facility; and indoor and outdoor gaming activities.
A representative for Callahan Construction, the GC for the project, told BLDUP the target date for first occupancy is 9/1/19.

Exterior work and window installation are now ongoing for 500 Ocean Avenue along Revere Beach. This new mixed-use project will feature 305 apartments along with ground floor retail space. 500 Ocean Avenue will also include 13,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenity space including a roof deck with unobstructed ocean views, a bar/lounge/media space, a communal workspace, a fitness center with outdoor yoga space and outdoor lap pool. Construction is expected to be complete in winter 2020.
Framing is ongoing along Revere Beach for the upcoming mixed-use project at 500 Ocean Avenue. The beachfront property will feature luxury residences and offer over 13,000 square feet of amenity space to include a roof deck with ocean views, bar/lounge, fitness center with outdoor yoga studio, and lap pool.
The site, adjacent to the Blue Line MBTA Station, is part of the master-planned Waterfront Square district, which will also include hotel and retail programming.
Gate Residential Mortgages 500 Ocean Ave Development
Boston based, Gate Residential, has mortgaged the property at 500 Ocean Ave in Revere for $65 million. The group has received the funds for the beachfront development from PNC Bank.
The current project at 500 Ocean Ave is a mixed-use development that consists of an apartment building with shared amenities and retail on a 2.4-acre parcel. The parcel is part of the master-planned Waterfront Square district, which will also include hotel and retail programming.
Callahan Inc. has been selected as the General Contractor for 500 Ocean Ave - Waterfront Square Project, a new apartment development located in Revere, MA.
When completed in the winter of 2020 the project will consist of one apartment building, seven stories tall, inclusive of two courtyards, a lap style pool and (2) retail areas. There will be 305 residential units.
The amenities are located throughout the building on the first and third levels. The first level houses a reception area, cardio room, strength training room, on demand room, dog wash, package room and (3) offices. The third level includes an extensive lounge with an outdoor deck along with a pool and lounge area.
The unit mix consists of lofts and studios along with one, two, and three bedroom apartments ranging in size from 441 square feet to 1,430 square feet. There are two levels of parking under podium including 203 spaces on the lower level, 206 spaces on the upper and electric car charging stations.
Underground Site Utilities are in progress and are currently 25% complete.
