About Harvard ArtLab

North Harvard Street at Western Avenue, Allston, Boston, MA

A 9,000-square-foot lab that offers space for arts including film, theater, dance and media. The ArtLab is located at Barry’s Corner, the intersection of North Harvard Street and Western Avenue in Allston, and is intended for Harvard faculty, students and artists to explore possibilities in arts innovation, sensory experience, and social cognition.

Amenities at the ArtLab include sound editing stations, an audio recording studio, and space for rehearsal, improvisation and informal performance. The ArtLab also provides flexible studio spaces for visiting and local artists and features sizable street-level glass portions to showcase arts activity and allow for abundant natural lighting.
