An industrial to residential conversion of the 115-year-old, Landers, Frary & Clark plant, located at 321 Ellis Street in New Britain, Connecticut. To be known as "Ellis Street Commons", the project will convert the interior spaces of the plant's 4 remaining buildings into affordable housing units. These apartments will be offered in one, two, and three-bedroom configurations. Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, community and game rooms, flex workspaces, outdoor seating areas, 230 parking spaces, and on-site leasing, maintenance, and management offices. The historic brick exteriors of the buildings will be preserved as the site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
